Cosmetology Instructor

The cosmetology instructor curriculum consists of 1000 hours of coordinated theory and practical experience broken down into the following subjects as required by the State of Illinois. 
Tuition:

Post-Graduate School Training (500 hours)

All subjects in the basic cosmetology curriculum. Presentation of material includes the concepts to be taught and 
the skills to be acquired during the phases of basic education


Educational Psychology (20 hours)

Educational objectives, student characteristics and development, the learning process


Teaching Methods (20 hours)

Educational objectives, student characteristics and development, the learning process 


Application of Teaching Methods (150 hours)

Preparation and organization of subject matter, presentation of subject matter, lecture, demonstration, testing and assignments, correlation of theoretical with practical application


Business Methods (50 hours)

Inventory, record keeping, interviewing, supplies, Illinois Barber, Cosmetology, Esthetics, and Nail Technology Act 


Student Teaching (260 hours)

Presentation of theoretical and practical demonstrations to students in the basic curriculum

Nail Technology Instructor

The nail technology instructor curriculum consists of 625 hours of coordinated 
theory and practical experience broken down into the following subjects as required by the State of Illinois.
Tuition:
$4,500

Post-Graduate Training (125 hours)

All subjects in the basic nail technology curriculum. Presentation of material includes the concepts to be taught and 
the skills to be acquired during the phases of basic education
